Solace: Website & Brand Refresh
Simplifying a dense homepage into a clear, modern first impression for prospective clients and recruits.
Solace is a leader in event-driven architecture, helping enterprises modernize their operations to run in real time. As one of the first touchpoints for prospective clients and recruits alike, Solace’s homepage needed a refresh, both to simplify dense content into more digestible sections, and to better reflect the company’s position as a modern, cutting-edge player in the tech space.
As lead designer on the project, I redesigned the homepage, laying out the content so it clearly explained what event-driven architecture actually is, rather than burying it in long blocks of technical copy. This was paired with a refreshed visual language, including more rounded corners and animated interactions, that gave the site a more inviting, welcoming feel. It extended across the company’s advertising to keep the brand consistent everywhere a prospective client or recruit might encounter it.
Result: The new homepage brought Solace’s look and feel into the modern era, a clear step up from a stale, legacy brand. It drew strong feedback from stakeholders and employees alike for the energy and freshness it brought to an otherwise dry business.
