Reflektion Website, UI & AI Booklets
Owning creative end to end for a Silicon Valley AI e-commerce platform: a redesigned website, a unified solutions UI and a four-part AI booklet series.
Reflektion is a Silicon Valley startup whose e-commerce engagement platform uses AI to read shopper behaviour and personalize content and product recommendations in real time. As Creative Director and sole designer, I owned creative across three projects that shaped how the company looked, sold and explained its product.
Website
The website needed to take Reflektion from looking like a small startup to a mature AI e-commerce platform. I designed the information architecture and led the visual design, structuring the solutions overview around specific e-commerce use cases instead of technical feature lists, and adding a blog on e-commerce, personalization and AI/ML trends to position Reflektion as a thought leader rather than just a vendor. Result: a mature, consistent web presence organized around how retailers think about their problems.
Solutions UI
Reflektion’s product spans six solution types (product recommendation widgets, visual site search, photo search, voice search, natural language processing and universal search), and each had to fit into a different client’s website. I designed one unified UI across all six and mocked up concepts quickly so prospects could see how each would look on their own site. Result: sales could show each solution on a prospect’s own site, speeding up the sales conversation.
AI Booklet Series
Four booklets educated current and prospective clients on how AI was being used in e-commerce, moving from foundations to real-world examples of measurable results. A consistent system of callouts, pull-quotes and data visualizations kept dense material approachable for technical and non-technical readers. Result: the series was used as direct mailers and trade show handouts.
Overall result: Together, the three projects gave Reflektion’s marketing and sales teams a consistent set of tools, from website to product demos to educational content.
