Marketwire: Office & Brand Evolution

Two rebrands, one company: from a physical space overhaul to a full identity shift following an acquisition.

As part of Marketwire’s rebrand, one of the highest-visibility projects was overhauling the company’s elevator lobby and reception area, the first physical touchpoint for any visitor to the new brand. I worked with contractors to replace the previous dark wood panelling with clean white acrylic panels and new signage, transforming the space into something brighter and more modern, one that matched the brand’s new positioning as strong, vibrant, and simple.

A second, larger rebrand followed when Marketwire acquired the social analytics platform Sysomos, prompting a company name change to Marketwired. I contributed to evolving the existing brand, carrying forward key elements while extending the look and feel to the company’s flagship product, Resonate, redesigning its UI and marketing presence to reflect the combined company’s broader analytics focus. This extended to a full suite of product brochures.

Result: Employees responded strongly to the new lobby, which transformed the space from dark and dated to sleek, bright, and modern, a space they were glad to step into every morning. Clients familiar with the old space also complimented on how dramatic the transformation felt.
